While the standard tarot deck is usually the Eurocentric, Western Rider-Waite-Smith tradition, choosing a deck rooted in Black cultural multi-dimensionality allows me to actively strip away colonial frameworks and reclaim my intuition on my own cultural terms. This deck allows me to honour my paternal Jamaican lineage and is an ode to decolonising my relationship with my Indigenous gifts and with God.
